“My approach to art is direct and rooted to the present; I process thoughts and develop subjective imagery through the immediate act of painting. Between the counterpoint of abstraction and figuration – my work explores both the visual impact of line and the sensorial implications of form and color: I am summoning the impulse to reflect. And as temporal compositions – I seek to capture that state of presence and integral energy which rouses attention… By speaking to the sensibility of life and to the eros of the natural world – my work ponders the human condition, past and present, as the ceaseless flow of force and form.”
